The hugely respected Detroit minimalist Terrence Dixon dropped this wicked two tracker on Canada's Open Concept Recordings last year [2008].
"Trust" is another of his innately skilled productions, touched with a Detroit abstraction that few manage to achieve but still functioning like a proper badboy track in the right situations with pulsing kicks and insistently raw machine rhythms.
"Miles Per Hour" harks back to the classic sound of Metroplex records with a canny combo of spooked synthlines and ruffled drum machines spiked with a virulent dose of the funk. Well cool.
